What you're buying

The NDX PIT Dataset is a one-time digital download: a ZIP file containing Apache Parquet data files and Markdown methodology documents. You receive permanent access to the version purchased. No subscription, no recurring charges.

Licence

You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the dataset for your own research and strategy development. You may not redistribute, resell, or publish the raw data files.

Refund policy

Because this is a digital download that is delivered instantly, all sales are final. No exceptions. The dataset contents, format, and known limitations are fully documented on the validation and skills pages before purchase — there are no surprises after checkout.

Intended use

This dataset is intended for research and educational purposes only. It is not sourced from an official exchange or index provider and is not suitable for compliance, auditing, production trading systems, or official index replication. Use it to test ideas — not to run live capital without independent verification.

Data accuracy — sold as is

The dataset is compiled from public records of index changes and publicly available price data, and is sold as is. We run 35 automated validation checks (2 warnings, 0 failures) and document every known limitation openly on the validation page — but we do not warrant that the constituent history, membership dates, or price series are complete, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Index membership records, especially in the early history, may contain gaps or inaccuracies, and price data for departed companies is limited to what public sources preserved. If you find an error, report it and we will investigate — but independently verify anything your research depends on.

Limitation of liability

This is a $20 research dataset produced by an independent developer — not an institutional data feed with an SLA. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your purchase or use of the dataset is limited to the purchase price. We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from decisions made using this data.
